Contrary to popular belief, when you put two dodecapedes together, they do not form a twodecapede, a dodecadecapepede, or a buckiballpede. They don't mix well, those dodecapedes.

You know, back in MY day -- before this newfangled "ascension" stuff that all the kids are doing nowadays -- when you leveled up your familiars, they stayed leveled. Except for this little number, that is.

This was the Item of the Month from June 2005. When used, it becomes an Inflatable Dodecapede familiar.

The dodecapede is a combat familiar, unique in that it gets LESS effective as it gets heavier. It's losing air, you see, and can't attack from above as easily.

Anyway, it's pretty rare to find it in unused hatchling form like this. If it's something you think you might want, this might be your best chance to grab it.
