Happy New Year! January 9, 2005 We hope you've all had a great holiday season and are getting off to a great start with the new year. One of Chris's resolutions for 2005 is to update this site more often. I might also actually add some other pages to the site, besides just the photo gallery. One idea that has been on my mind is a bulletin board system that our extended family can keep in touch with us and each other. If you have any ideas for things you'd like to see here, shoot me an email and let me know. I'll try to get more of the Christmas photos up on the site later this week, but meanwhile I added a handful of new shots to commemorate another big milestone in Jason's life. Enjoy!

 

This is Embarrassing October 20 2004 Six months! That's how long it's been since the last site update. Mostly this is due to deep-seated laziness on my part. But in my defense, we had a few things going on: Moving out of the condo in Illinois Moving into a new home in Wisconsin Painting projects Landscaping projects Carpentry projects Our camera breaking Anyway, we will do our best to make updates a little more regular. We will also try to scan in some photos from the No Digital Camera days so we can show you the missing events, among them Jason's second birthday party. Our movie of the week: Jason meets the big lake.

 

Mea Maxima Culpa April 27 2004 What can I say ... it's been far too long since we updated the site. I'd be surprised if anyone is still checking it at this point. We upgraded our digital camera, so pictures starting on page 10 should be a little sharper now. (We're both still learning how to use it, so please be kind. If you're looking for movies, we are now offering a day in the life of Jason, as well as being silly on the bed.

 

Onward to Year Two October 3 2003 Jason's a whole year old now ... hard to believe. Thanks to all of you for helping out. We separated out the pics from his party into a new gallery, as some of you might be getting sick and tired of flipping through 20-odd pages of old pictures every time you come to the site. Be sure to check out his first steps!!

Update on Feesher.com site Apr 26 2003 *Huge* thanks to a very good friend who has graciously offered to host this site in the wake of the problems I'd encountered with my old hosting company. Give me a few days to get everything worked out again, and before you know it the pictures will be back online. UPDATE: We should be back up and running. Check it out and email me if anything looks broken. To celebrate I added a bunch of new pics to pages 17-19. Enjoy!

 

Let's Hear it for Incompetence Apr 25 2003 Bad news for those of you looking for more baby pictures ... the company that hosts my domain has made a unilateral decision to reconfigure their servers in a way that completely, irrevocably breaks the feesher.com picture gallery. Just imagine my surprise. I'm making a last-ditch effort to get them to change their policy, but odds are that I'll have to find a new home for this web site soon, one that allows me to continue running the picture gallery. We are, of course, continuing to take pictures. Hopefully it won't be too long before we can share them with you again!

 

You Guessed It, More Pics Feb 8 2003 It's been a busy month at Chez DanFish and while we've been taking pictures, I've been delinquent in posting them. Check out pages 13 and 14 in Jason's gallery to see the new stuff. We've had pretty much every strain of flu and cold come through our home over the last few weeks, so we're feeling very Typhoid Maryish of late. But rest assured, the pictures will keep coming.

 

Christening Pics Up Jan 3 2003 Gudrun reminds me that it might be good for me to mention that our son just had his Christening. Seeing as it's an important milestone for him and all. So: it's official, Jason was baptized. Most people reading this were probably there :-) It turns out that we aren't running low on site space after all, so please disregard my previous dire warnings about imminent picture deletion. Happy New Year from all of us. Hope your 2003 is off to a great start.

 

Merry Christmas! Dec 25 2002 Happy holidays from all three of us ... hope that you're having a wonderful holiday season, wherever you are. It looks like we're starting to run out of room on the site, so I'm going to have to start moving some of the older pictures into the archive. I'm probably going to start doing that the weekend after New Year's Day, so please let me know if there are any pics you want me to send you.

 

Alive but Tired Oct 20 2002 Sorry about the lack of picture updates. We haven't had much time to take pictures lately. I'll try to get around to posting some new ones, and fixing up the site a little, sometime soon.

 

It's a boy!! Sept 17 2002 At 3:05am this morning, Gudrun gave birth to our first child, Jason Anders Danielson Fisher. Weighing in at just over 10 pounds and 20 inches long, he's a big 'un. Be sure to check him out in the Family gallery. Mom and baby are both doing great. Everyone is exhausted and I will be napping as soon as I finish posting the pics.

 

Whoo-Ha! Sept 6 2002 The site is a work in progress. Give me time; I'll fix everything up soon. Meanwhile, please let me know if you have any ideas for what I can put up here. Thanks to Gudrun for putting up with yet another evening of me puttering in front of the computer. I love you, honey.
